Care Instructions
Hand wash gently and separately in cold water. Do not soak. Dry in shade. As these are naturally dyed, some colour bleeding or flushing may occur in the first few washes — this is normal and part of the natural dye process.
Artisan Craftsmanship
Each cushion cover is individually handwoven and Kantha-embroidered by skilled artisans of Maharashtra, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. Kantha embroidery — worked in delicate running stitches across the cotton surface — creates a beautifully textured, quilted effect that brings the pink and yellow thread work to life with warmth and precision.
Heritage & Tradition
Kantha is one of India’s oldest and most cherished embroidery traditions, with roots in Bengal and a living practice across Maharashtra and beyond. Traditionally created by women stitching together layers of old saris with simple running stitches, Kantha has evolved into a celebrated art form — recognised for its meditative beauty and cultural depth.
