Care Instructions

Dust with a soft dry cloth. Avoid direct moisture or prolonged sunlight exposure. Apply a light coat of natural wood oil or beeswax annually to nourish the wood and deepen the carved relief details.

Heritage & Tradition

Among the Naga tribes of Northeast India, the warrior is the highest symbol of honour and community protection, while the Mithun — the semi-wild bovine sacred to Naga culture — represents wealth, ritual sacrifice, and social standing. Panels depicting these figures were traditionally installed in the morung (men’s communal house) as declarations of tribal identity and ancestral pride.
