CRAFT : Chanderi fabrics are made using a traditional pit loom and a blend of silk and cotton yarns in the village of Chanderi , Madhya Pradesh . Handloom artisans interlace cotton, silk, and zari threads to create the design , incorporating motifs like peacocks, lotuses, and geometric patterns. The process includes yarn preparation, warping, design setting, weaving, and finishing. The use of zari adds a rich touch to borders and pallus, giving the fabric  its distinctive glossy transparency and elegance.
